The principle of the gas refining process is to use natural crystal powder or highly purified silica powder with a particle size of 100 mesh to 200 mesh as raw material, and feed it into the hydrogen oxygen burner through a feeding device. In the hydrogen oxygen burner, hydrogen and oxygen undergo combustion reactions, producing high-temperature flames that can reach temperatures of around 1700 ℃ -2000 ℃. The raw material powder is rapidly melted under the high temperature of the hydrogen oxygen flame. The melted liquid quartz falls onto the quartz glass target holder below under the action of gravity. The target holder is placed in an insulated furnace with two open ends, and rotates at a uniform speed and descends (vertically) or retreats (horizontally), so that the target surface and burner always maintain a constant distance and remain in the highest temperature zone, ensuring that the powder can be continuously melted into a glassy state. Due to the appropriate temperature field from high to low inside the furnace, when the melted glass leaves the high-temperature zone, it will gradually cool and solidify as the temperature gradually decreases, eventually becoming a columnar solid glass mass.
